Well a while ago, i came across a great tool called TinyURL and have had so many questions on the subject that i decided to make a short tutorial explaining how to usse this magnificent tool.

—————————————————————————————————————

1: First go to tinyurl.com and paste your URL into the box as illustrated below, next click Make TinyURL!

—————————————————————————————————————

2: In the next screen you will see the following information:

#1: Your original URL (which you inserted into the box in the firststep).

#2: Your New TinyURL (a short coded version or the original URL).

#3: A preview TinyURL (this link allows people to preview the original URL, so they can see where they are being directed to) but you wont need to worry about this.

#4: Custom Box (custom alias box for inputing your own custom TinyURL Word or Phrase).

From here you can now use the new TinyURL(#2) and this will direct people to the original URL(#1) you inserted at the beginning or you can go a step further and create a custom TinyURL by inserting your own WORD or PHARSE in the custom alias box (#4)

—————————————————————————————————————

3: To create your custom TinyURL simply insert the word or pharse you wish to choose(may contain letters, numbers and dashes), then click the Make TinyURL button again to show your new custom TinyURL as Shown below.

Please note: If this custom TinyURL you have chosen is already taken, you will be promted to choose anotherĀ  another custom TinyURL.
