How To Get More Twitter Followers Using The POWER Of RSS

The first How To Get More Twitter Followers strategy I’m going to discuss is through the use of RSS or Real Simple Syndication.

If you’ve been using Twitter for any length of time now then you know that it is a micro-blog.

Now for those of you who don’t know that a micro-blog is don’t worry, it’s nothing major. A micro-blog is simply a mini version of a standard blog where you only get 140 characters worth of space to blast out what your trying to get across to your Twitter audience.

That’s a micro-blog in a nutshell and is what Twitter is.

The reason I want you to understand this is both regular blogs and micro-blogs like Twitter use RSS to syndicate their content to their subscribers, RSS directories and to whomever decides to use your feed as content on their websites or in their RSS aggregators or readers.

So what I’m trying to get across here is for you to submit your Twitter RSS feed to as many RSS directories possible. By doing this your building your reach so when someone from those RSS directories or where ever your Twitter RSS feed was found, when they click on your tweet from your Twitter RSS feed it’ll bring them back to your Twitter profile page, which is exactly what you want. From there they can choose to browse your Twitter Tweets and if they like what your tweeting about they’ll have the option to follow you.

That’s it.

Remember, you can’t make other Twitters follow you. They have to make that decision themselves because it’s an opt-in process that they have full control over.

Twitter is a great platform to use and I know there are HUGE claims of people getting thousands of follows a month which is possible, it’s just the ‘How’ that most Twitters get stuck on which is why I’m writing this series, sharing with you my findings as I discover them.

So with that said I hope this post helped you and most importantly, that you put it into action because you don’t what the unknown will bring.
